What to do when you graduate

It is easy to get busy with classes and activities and not know what job you want to do when you graduate. However, the longer you postpone this decision, the less likely you are to end up with a job that will be a match for you. Here are several great suggestions to help focus your search:

  •  Go to the upcoming Career and Internship Fair on April 22Career Fairs are not just for finding jobs or internships; they are also a great way to explore and get ideas about companies/jobs.
  • Check out the Event tab on Pioneer Careers. You will find Employer Meet-Ups, Industry Panels and Information sessions. These are excellent ways to network and learn about opportunities.
  • Take a career assessment. These assessments are designed to help match your skills and interests with real-world opportunities. They are fun and interesting and will help to narrow your options.

By exploring and trying out some of these suggestions you will soon have a better idea of your career direction!
